PUNTA TOMBO

It is the most important continental nesting of the Magellan Penguin (over 400.000 nests). Located 200 km south from Puerto Madryn, it is considered an exceptional phenomenon because these birds normally nest on islands and not in the continent.
On the way there we may rest while travelling through the patagonian plateau.
Once we reach destination, we will have free time to wonder around the paths, take pictures and interact with the animals in their very own natural habitat, achieving amazing proximity due to their social behavior and also because human presence keeps predators away from them (but it is forbidden to touch them).
In places like this, it is characteristic to give Penguins way and priority of movement.
Even though the walk inside the rookery is at free will, we must respect the predetermined boundaries and remain inside the path. It is also forbidden to feed the animals, run, scream o speak loudly (so everyone can enjoy themselves and the animals are not disturbed).
