CERRO AVANZADO

Located at approximately 19 km away from Puerto Madryn, Cerro Avanzado is a true sample of the grounds evolution over the last 100 million years. Great amount of fossils and testimonies of this former sea bottom surprise us with an almost extraterrestrial view upon us. Pale coloured hills allow us to interpret at first sight the movement than originated the geography of the place. This “Cerro” –hill- is the continuance of the Meseta Patagonica (Patagonian plateau), which has been eroded and carved by time, giving it a very particular and attractive look.
 It is an ideal place for taking good pictures.

 We recommend for this trekking to wear comfortable clothes and adequate shoes.
